Yesterday, I had today’s reiki session

I know what some of you must be thinking! What, how can that be!

Well, Reiki is energy and as such I believe that like time, it’s not linear. Also as a Reiki master Practitioner I trust Reiki so I wasn’t surprised when on the following day of the session (which I must specified was a distant healing session) I realised what had actually happened.

So, on the previous day I came home after a long day at work and I really needed reiki and I thought it was the day of the session. I settled on my sofa and straight away I felt a very strong energy surrounding me and had an amazing healing session. On the next day when my phone alarm went off at the time of the reiki session I realised what had happened. I thought it was an interesting experience to share and a reminder of something I already know; the Reiki Energy is flexible and not linear.

This flexibility is the reason why reiki can be done remotely for sending reiki distant healing to someone anywhere in the world (at a time agreed by my client and myself). Like time which is a human construct, set up for our convenience; energy especially Chi or Universal Life Force energy which is all around us is not subject to our physical concept. I mean, it will not surprise you if I say that we are all going back in time at the end of the month (*see note) and getting an extra hour sleep and we all went forward in March and lost one hour. The 24hrs format has been set up to help manage and regulate our lives.

We also know that time is very subjective and I’m sure you have all experienced instant when you felt time stood still and moment when everything seemed to rush in front of your eyes or got lost in time. Reiki Energy work in a similar way.

As a reiki practitioner, I know that the reiki energy is “intelligent”

I recalled missing one distant healing session when I sent the energy to a client after they contacted me to tell me about it. Since then if I’m not able to do at the time agreed and I would send it beforehand on the day rather than after. This mainly happens when I am sending sessions on consecutive days, not one off session.

Having used and worked with reiki for such a long time (couple of decades now!) I just love the way it continually supports me and my clients in wondrous ways!

It’s why I had a big smile on my face when I realised what happened and knowing how much I needed it on the previous day and thought “WOW! Yesterday I had today's reiki session!
